In spite of the excellent range of new 1/32 WWI models released in the last years, this is an area still not so well covered by model accessories industry. A known rescue in this field is Tom's Modelworks accessories. Here's one of them, the generic set TM502, which provides several useful photo etched details for WWI German aircraft.

This is a very simple set, but yet will save you a lot of scratch building time. The fret is not etched with relief details. Everything is milled all the way through the thickness of the brass plate. You get seat belts (with the characteristic German buckles of the time), throttle details, handles, foot pedals, propeller plates, and other details, including some bogus seat parts.

The quality of the etch is good, although my sample had some details out of center in a couple of circular parts.

The set comes with a single page instructions sheet, but being a generic accessory, that's all you need once you have checked your references.

If you're visiting the large scale WWI model city, I'm sure you'll find a good use for this set.
